The youth program here at Jackson Elite Training will consist of building the foundation for youth athletes. J.E.T. will incorporate movements into fun games and promote an engaging environment for beginning athletes ages 8-13. Learning sprint and jump mechanics at an early age will help prevent issues down the road. Athletes will learn how to decelerate, change direction, jump and land properly, and how to control movements with their own body weight.
Safe and effective methods are needed for beginning athletes to help prepare them for the end goal of preparing them to compete at a high level by the time they are in high school. Often time athletes start specializing in one sport at an early age, which can lead to under-developed movement patterns as well as overuse injuries. J.E.T. believes in a long term development model for young athletes.
Each athlete is different and will progress at a different level. However self confidence, hard work ethic, continuous commitment to improve, competitive edge, and leadership abilities are characteristics that will be important in athletic competition and in LIFE.
J.E.T. Youth Performance programs will improve the following:
- Speed/endurance/ agility
- Body weight Strength
- Running Technique
- Jump Mechanics
- Injury Prevention
Training Program Includes:
- 1-4 Training Sessions per week
- 1 on 1 Parent Consultation
- Nutrition Guidance
